How much is a taxi from Gatwick Airport to central London?
A taxi from Gatwick Airport to central London costs £75 in a standard saloon and £95 in an eight-seat MPV. The journey is 30 miles up the M23 and A23 and takes about 65 minutes. Prices are per vehicle rather than per person and fixed when you book.
Which Gatwick terminal will my driver meet me at?
Whichever one you land at. Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, connected by a shuttle. We identify your terminal from your flight number when you book, so the driver is waiting in the correct arrivals hall — aircraft changes that move you between terminals are picked up automatically.
How much is a taxi from Gatwick to Brighton?
£55 in a standard saloon and £75 in an eight-seat MPV. It is 28 miles and takes about 40 minutes. Gatwick to Brighton is one of our busiest south coast routes, particularly at weekends and during conference season.
Is the Gatwick drop-off charge included?
Yes. Gatwick charges vehicles to enter the terminal drop-off zones, and that charge is already inside your quoted fare. You will not be asked for anything at the barrier and nothing is added afterwards.
What happens if my flight into Gatwick is delayed?
Nothing, and it costs you nothing. We track your flight from departure and move the pick-up to the actual landing time automatically. Your 45 minutes of free waiting starts at touchdown.
Is a taxi cheaper than the Gatwick Express?
It depends on group size. The Gatwick Express is charged per person and runs to Victoria, leaving you to reach your final address separately with luggage. A taxi is charged per vehicle, so from around two or three passengers a transfer usually works out cheaper and takes you door to door.
Can you collect me for an early flight from Gatwick?
Yes — early-hours departures are routine. Gatwick runs a dense schedule of 6am and 7am departures, so 3am and 4am pick-ups are among our most common bookings. Your driver is assigned in advance and confirmed by text the evening before.
How much luggage can I bring?
An executive sedan carries two large suitcases and two cabin bags, an estate carries four large cases, and an eight-seat MPV carries eight. Travelling with skis, golf clubs or a pushchair? Add it to the booking notes and the right vehicle is sent.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Tell us the ages of the children when you book and the correct infant carrier, child seat or booster is fitted before the vehicle arrives at your terminal.
Can I cancel or change my Gatwick booking?
Cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before pick-up for a full refund. Within 12 hours a 50% charge applies. Changes to the time, terminal, address or vehicle are free whenever we can accommodate them.
