Is the Stansted drop-off charge included?
Yes. Stansted charges vehicles to enter the terminal drop-off zone, and that charge is already inside your quoted fare. You will not be asked for cash at the barrier and nothing is added to your bill afterwards.
How much is a taxi from Stansted to Cambridge?
£55 in a standard saloon and £75 in an eight-seat MPV. It is 30 miles and takes about 45 minutes via the M11. Cambridge is one of our most-booked Stansted routes, particularly for university and conference travel.
What happens if my flight into Stansted is delayed?
Nothing, and it costs you nothing. We track your flight from departure and move the pick-up to the actual landing time automatically. Your 45 minutes of free waiting starts at touchdown.
Can you collect me for a 6am flight from Stansted?
Yes — early-hours departures are routine for us. Stansted runs a heavy schedule of early low-cost departures, so 3am and 4am pick-ups are among our most common bookings. Your driver is assigned in advance and confirmed by text the evening before.
Is a taxi cheaper than the Stansted Express?
It depends on group size. The Stansted Express is charged per person and terminates at Liverpool Street, leaving you to reach your final address separately. A taxi is charged per vehicle, so from roughly two or three passengers a transfer usually works out cheaper — and it takes you door to door at any hour.
How much luggage can I bring?
An executive sedan carries two large suitcases and two cabin bags, an estate carries four large cases, and an eight-seat MPV carries eight. Travelling with skis, golf clubs or a pushchair? Add it to the booking notes and the right vehicle is sent.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Tell us the ages of the children when you book and the correct infant carrier, child seat or booster is fitted before the vehicle arrives at Stansted.
Can I cancel or change my Stansted booking?
Cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before pick-up for a full refund. Within 12 hours a 50% charge applies. Changes to the time, address or vehicle are free whenever we can accommodate them.
